The Sonoran Pirates (aka Son-Rats) is a team of mountain bikers from AZ, MI, CA, CO, MD, PA, UT, TX, ID & The U.K. The team was established in 2004.
Across the ranks they try and hold true to their fundamental belief that...
"the only thing that matters is that you ride... not how fast you ride... nor the gear upon which you ride."

The homeless pirate found a home...
Matt broke down, got back in step with the man and signed a lease on a condo in Fort Collins. He is, however, still without a seatpost on his suspension rig. Does anyone know what exactly Matt is doing to or with his seatposts that keeps causing them to break? I guess some things are better left unsaid.

Has his happened to matt before?
Yes. Lacey, Matt, & I went out and rode the Elephant Head trail down south of Tucson. Matt was on Brad's bike and broke the seatpost bolt about 1/2 way through the ride. He rode back standing up. A side note to this story: we got lost, ran out of water, and thought we were going to have to spend the night in the desert, I was so exhausted that I got off my bike and started walking. Matt, the mountain goat, rode back standing up and went ahead to get his truck. I cannot remember, for the life of me, why he didn't just ride ahead on my bike, while I walked. I'm soo weak.
Or, you could have let him borrow your seat, so that he didn't have to ride a bike designed for someone three times his size.
I heard that fucker broke that bad ass brad's seat post, he should of been beaten
I think the comment above may have been written by "that bad ass Brad" himself... hmm??
