McLovin rode half the course on a slow leaking front tire and when it came to go down the final Rock at the finish he did it with a flat front tire and the picture above is the result. This new trick is called the Ninja Monkey Roll but be warned if you try it... IT HURTs!!!

We thought Hugh Keeffe was lost...
Friday night... Magellan, McLovin, & Charm City did a night ride in the rain on the AZ trail out off Pistol Hill Road. Upon return we ran into Hugh's friend... apparently Hugh and his buddy had split up on the trail and Hugh was lost. Two factors had me nervous for Hugh... #1. leprechauns (there had been a rainbow earlier) #2. cougars (& not the kind that hang out @ Level). Luckily Hugh found his way back and we called off the helicopters.

The Green Lantern podiums again...
The prelim results are in and Brad (aka The Green Lantern) took 3rd place (Class: Male Cat 2, 19-29) at the Whitetanks Whirlwind MBAA race outside of Phoenix last Saturday.

a backiotomy...
El Hefe took a spill on the AZ Trail that ended in a fine turtle emulating pose on Tuesday morning. Then he was pushed past his pain threshold by three jackasses at Fantasy Island on Wednesday night. Finally... this morning his back seized forcing an emergency evacuation (sort of) from work, heavy drugs, and probably a backiotomy.
